St. Croix’s recently expanded Henry E. Rohlsen Airport can be reached from anywhere in the continental US, the Caribbean, Europe, or South America in one day or in some cases a couple of hours.
St. Croix can be reached non-stop, by major airlines, through Atlanta on Delta, Charlotte on US Airways, or through Miami on American Airlines, or by these and other major airlines, connecting to St. Croix, through either San Juan, Puerto Rico, or St. Croix’s sister island of St. Thomas.

The U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are exempt from the passport regulation that has been in effect since January 1, 2007. The U.S. Department of Justice has confirmed that traveling with a US Passport is not a requirement for American citizens when coming to St. Croix. If you don't have a passport, travel with a valid photo ID and an original copy of your birth certificate (with a raised seal) for travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands.
